P245GH Flanges tend to be very resistant to not only chemical corrosion but oxidation corrosion as well. This grade flange has some amount of high stress rupture effectiveness along with a low creep rate, even under high stresses. This can be witnessed especially at elevated temperatures after performing a suitable Heat Treatment on these  flanges.The purpose of these en 1092-2 Steel p245gh blind flanges is to block off either a section of pipe or to block off a nozzle on a vessel which is not being used.
 

EN 10222-2 P245GH (1.0352)/P250GH is a European equivalent to ASTM A105 flanges.
