Lap joint stub end is a fitting to replace welded flanges when support of a rotating back up flange is required. Either standard or non-standard ANSI dimension that is used for connecting pipes of different diameter. Types are in A, B and C.
A is for lap joint flange, B slip on flange and C for special purpose.
