The ASTM A234 WP5 Fittings proves useful for application in both ambient and elevated temperature conditions. Often these fittings are a part of piping systems or pressure vessels. The ASTM A234 Alloy Steel WP5 Fittings undergo forming procedures in such a manner that the component does not produce injurious imperfections. The forming operation is to be carried out at an elevated temperature, following which the Annealed Alloy Steel A234 Gr WP5 Fittings are cooled to a temperature below the critical range under suitable conditions as rapid cooling could cause defects, which is why the chances of the components getting an injurious defect tend to be lower.
A234 WP5 Pipe fittings is made of A335 Grade P5 Seamless pipes,which is widely used in oil refineries applications.
