A182 F321 Spectacle Blind Flange

In Grade 321 Stainless Steel Flange have excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures. UNS S32100 Flange does not polish well so not recommended for decorative applications. A182 F321/F321H Flange has higher hot strength and particularly suitable for high temperature applications.

ASTM A182 F321 is a choice for applications in the temperature range of up to about 900 °C with combining high strength, scaling resistance and phase stability with resistance to subsequent aqueous corrosion. A182-F321 has higher carbon content which provides improved high-temperature strength. It has a good oxidation resistance in intermittent service to 900 °C and in continuous service to 925 °C. It performs well in a range 425-900 °C, and especially where subsequent aqueous corrosive conditions are available. It has higher hot strength and is particularly suitable for high-temperature structural applications.

SA182 F321 has an excellent weldability and can be easily welded by all standard fusion methods, both with and without filler metals and it not need post weld heat treatment. ASTM A182 Grade F321 also possesses good low temperature toughness and is non-magnetic in the annealed condition. SA 182 F321 is useful for the applications such as chemical processing, food processing, aerospace, petroleum refining, pharmaceutical production, etc.
