ASTM A847 10CRNiCuP Round Steel Tube Seamless

ASTM A847 steel tube is also known as "Weathering Steel" simply due to its ability to form a stable oxide coating on its surface, which protects against atmospheric corrosion. In terms of corrosion resistance and weathering qualities, it is comparable to ASTM A588 and ASTM A606 Type 4 steels
ASTM A847 is a high strength low alloy steel covering cold-formed welded square and rectangular tubing and pipe. The atmospheric corrosion resistance of this steel in most environments is substantially better than carbon steel with or without copper addition. ASTM A847 is intended for use, unpainted, in welded, bolted or riveted construction
of  bridges and other carbon steel structural channels where high strength and enhanced corrosion resistance are required. When properly designed and exposed to the atmosphere, A847 can be used bare (unpainted) for many applications.
