A182 Gr.F22 Forged Black and Bright Round Bar

Grade 22 of the ASTM A182 alloy steel is a low-alloy steel that contains 2.25% chromium. Often used as base metal for clad components, the F22 is also used in the oil patch wellhead applications for products such as hangers, connectors, and block valves, among others. When supplied to ASTM A182 in the normalized and tempered condition, the 0.2% proof stress minimum is 30 KSU.
A182 F22 is a pearlitic heat-strength steel forgings, F22 is good cold strain plasticity, machinability and weld ability. It is used to manufacture the main pipe with the steam parameter up to 510 ºC, the superheated pipe with the pipe wall temperature up to 540 ºC, etc., and can also make various elastic components working under high temperature.
