ASME B16.11 A182 F316L Forged Threaded NPT Tee 

ASTM A182 F316L Fittings is an Austenitic Cr-Ni stainless steel. It may be a low carbon subsidiary of F316. F316L, like its higher carbon relative is now typically utilized in numerous businesses including Brewing, Marine, Food processing, Mining, Medical, Automotive, Aerospace, Oil and Gas. This alloy has great resistance to oxidation in intermittent service upto 870Deg.C and in continuous service upto 925Deg.C. Whilst continuous utilize between 425 - 860Deg.C isn't suggested for 316L stainless steel forging if erosion resistance in water is required this lower carbon variation, F316L, is recommended due to its resistance to carbide precipitation. ASTM A182 may be a martensitic SS. The augmentations of Nickel and Molybdenum, which gives it great sub zero notch ductility, superior to other standard 13 Cr, 410 and 420 Mod martensitic Stainless Steels. 316L stainless steel forged fittings may be a martensitic Stainless Steel. The augmentations of Nickel and Molybdenum, which gives it great sub zero indent ductility, superior to other standard 13 Cr, 410 and 420 Mod martensitic SS.When high strength at temperatures above 500Deg.C is required, grade F316H is recommended. SS 316L forged fittings will also suffer from stress corrosion cracking above 60Deg.C
