NM500 Wear resistant plate is bimetal composite wear resistant steel plate. Bimetal cladding wear resistant steel plate is a kind of plate product specially used for large area wear condition. It is made of common low-carbon steel or low-alloy steel with good toughness and plasticity by surfacing welding method to compound a certain thickness of wear resistant layer with high hardness and excellent wear resistance.
Bimetal composite wear resistant steel plate is composed of low carbon steel plate and alloy wear resistant layer, the wear resistant layer of NM500 wear resistant plate generally accounts for 1/3-1/2 of the total thickness. When working, the matrix provides the strength, toughness and plasticity of resistance to external forces, and the wear resistant layer provides the wear resistant performance to meet the requirements of specified working conditions.
The wear resistant layer of NM500 wear resistant plate is mainly made of chromium alloy, and manganese, molybdenum, niobium, nickel and other alloys are added. The carbide in the microstructure is fibrous and the fiber direction is perpendicular to the surface. The microhardness of the carbide can reach more than HV1700-2000, and the surface hardness can reach HRc58-62. The alloy carbide has strong stability at high temperature, maintains high hardness, and has good oxidation resistance. It can be used completely and normally within 500ºC.
