SAE J518 3000PSI 6000PSI Female Welding Counter Flange

Flanges are used in hydraulic systems that require high pressure and high pulsation.

The flanges are manufactured according to ISO 6162/ SAE J518 code 61 and 62.

Code 61 signifies the pressure ratings mentioned below, also called 3000 psi.

Code 62 signifies the pressure rate 41,4 MPa, also called 6000 psi.

J518 flanges come in two pressure classes. The standard series, Code 61, which goes to 3,000 psi and the high pressure series,

Code 62, where all the sizes are rated at 6,000 psi. J518 is interchangeable with ISO 6141, DIN 20066 and JIS B 8363, except for the bolt sizes.
SAE Flanges are available usually with a O-ring side, a flat side, or a complete set, depending on the hydraulic system requirements.
SAE flanges are usually available in steel (ST52.3) and stainless steel AISI SS316L. There are four type of connections for SAE flanges: socket weld, butt weld, NPT, and BSPP.
