ASME B16.11 F316L NPT Threaded Street Elbow

The ASME B16.11 street elbow is a 90° elbow with one end externally threaded (male NPT) and the other end internally threaded (female NPT). The male NPT end is to connect with a female-NPT screwed pipe while the female NPT end is to connect with a male-NPT screwed pipe. It changes the flow direction by an angle of 90 degrees. The screwed ends promote a rapid and convenient installation with mating pipes. They are available from sizes 1/8″ (NPS) through 2″ (NPS) in two pressure ratings: Class 3000 and Class 6000.
Difference between a street elbow and a regular one,
A regular elbow has a hub or female-threaded connection on each end, so it can join two male pipes. Instead, a street elbow has a female fitting on one end and a male fitting on the other.
