JIS G3462 specifies alloy steel tubes used for heat transfer, for instance, water tubes, smoke pipe, superheater tube, air preheater tube, heat exchanger tubes, condenser tubes which are widely used in the chemical and petroleum industry. JIS G3462 usually applies to tubes with an outer diameter of 15.9mm to 139.8mm.

Manufacture: tubes to JIS G3462 shall be manufactured by hot rolled or cold drawn process.
Heat Treatment: full or isothermal anneal, normalize and temper.
Inspection & Test: chemistry composition analysis, tensile test, hardness test, flattening test, flaring test, NDT, surface inspection and dimension check.

Length: 5800mm; 6000mm; 6096mm; 7315mm; 11800mm; 12000mm; and so on.
Max developed length: 30 meters, also U bending, finning, studded process can be provided.
Option: shot blasting on the outside surface to remove mill scale, make the surface matte colour; surface polishing as preparation work done for further processing, for instance finning.
