concentric reducer and eccentric reducer. The former is used on vertical pipes, and the latter is used for horizontal pipes
Pipe reducers are mainly used in the following areas:
1. Pipe reducer is useful when there is a requirement on change of fluid flow rate.
2. It is used for pump inlet to prevent cavitation.
